Upon signing up for ISR I had no reservations. I was so excited to get my kids swimming. Then, on our first day, and throughout the first and second weeks my kids screamed the whole time. Upon signing up for ISR I had no reservations. I was so excited to get my kids swimming. Then, on our first day, and throughout the first and second weeks my kids screamed the whole time. I was so worried that not only had we wasted money, but were wasting Ms. Lauren’s time as well. After a lot of consistency, and Ms. Lauren striving to gain my children’s trust, they stopped crying. And then, the miracle of all miracles, they started learning. Eli was still crying, but now when he had to get out of the pool. Then the big day came. Eli swam the length of the pool. When he came up on the other side of the pool he swelled with pride! He did that! I was in awe and in that moment all the tears to get to that point made perfect sense. ISR is an incredible skill, and when you see it come to fruition, it seems so easy. It’s truly a no brainer. The confidence my children have gained from these lessons is immeasurable. They know how to save themselves if the situation ever occurs. I couldn’t be happier with ISR- lessons and I will always promote them.

I am so impressed at how well and how quickly my 3 1/2 year old is learning how to swim/rescue herself if needed. She went from a generally afraid girl with no swimming skills whatsoever (in fact, she had been in a puddle jumper and had trained her body to do the opposite of what is needed) to a girl who is calm, confident, and can swim/float/swim-in only a few weeks! We love having Lauren as her teacher, and won't hesitate to come back in future summers for refresher lessons.
